Although not required, the Draft Request allows you to submit limited data on a loan to be reviewed for a Flex Modification workout (Standard Flex Modification, Disaster Flex Modification, COVID-19 Flex Modification). The Draft Request contains initial data that may not be complete or final.
Users can submit a Draft Request to explore preliminary results or the feasibility of the Retention request. The Resolve ® user interface (UI) or Retention application programming interface (API) verifies the loan meets eligibility according to Freddie Mac's Single-Family Seller/Servicer Guide (Guide) requirements and renders an Eligible for Draft status.
